Ewen Stevenson is a veteran banker with over 20 years of senior management experience.  He has an outstanding track record in strategic transformation, value creation, innovation and people leadership. Most recently, Ewen was Group Chief Financial Officer of HSBC Holdings from 2019 to 2022. Before joining HSBC, he was Group Chief Financial Officer of The Royal Bank of Scotland from 2014 to 2018. Previously, Ewen had a 26-year career at Credit Suisse Group where he was latterly the Co-Head of the Global Financial Institutions Group and the Co-Head of EMEA Investment Banking. Ewen is actively involved in championing disability as a cause and is currently Chairman of The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID).

 

Ewen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (majoring in Accountancy) and a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
