Our team

Russell is a Partner at Serendipity Capital and oversees the firm’s North American business with a focus on the origination and execution of investment opportunities. Russell has extensive experience across asset management, financial services, technology venture and growth investing, and global capital markets.

Russell was previously the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EFM Asset Management (Canada), where he led the firm’s expansion into the Canadian market. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing capital and identifying late-stage venture and growth opportunities across a range of technology-driven sectors. He also served as General Manager in Strategy & Business development within the International Financial Services division of CBA, where he focused on strategic growth initiatives and international expansion. Earlier in his career, Russell worked at Deutsche Bank, advising global institutional investors and driving revenue growth across Asia and Australia.

Russell holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne Business School, a Graduate Degree in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, majoring in Accounting, from Federation University Australia.
